Bannack Days

Bannack was the original capitol of Montana, now it is a state park set up for visitors to do self guided tours of the old mining town. In July they celebrate Bannack Days with people dressed up doing demonstrations. This year we were able to check it out with Bobbie and the kids. We panned for gold and garnets and made our own candles. Morgan was the best at panning getting quite a few garnets. It was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
