Friday August 7th was our 10th Anniversary! To celebrate we went to Boise to visit all the Heads there. (Petersons in New Hampshire you were greatly missed!!!)
Saturday the 8th was Rod’s 33rd Birthday! Happy Birthday to you…he had his favorite cake, PINK with PINK frosting. Rod’s little brother, Ryan, took us to see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. It’s been awhile since we’ve been to a movie in the Theatre so it was a real treat! Thanks again Ryan!
Captain Head, Rod's older brother, gave us a tour of the Star Fire Station. I'm always so impressed by him, he's such a neat guy! Erin and I were able to go get school supplies. I love buying new school supplies, I'm such a nerd!
On our way home we stopped by Crater’s of the Moon National Park. We’ll definitely be going back there to camp. It was really interesting and there are some caves that need to be explored and trails that need to be hiked. Shawn wanted to see the red lava and was a little disappointed that it had already turned black. Be that as it may, it was still cool to see.
