I have to admit I've been avoiding the updates lately. Sadly we did not get to adopt our baby boy we had been planning for. (I didn't really want to post it right next to the picture Shawn had drawn.)
Although we were very dissapointed and sad we did have a wonderful Christmas in Boise with Rod's family and my mom. We hadn't planned on two weeks in Boise but at the time we knew the baby was going to come earlier than planned so we decided to be just that much closer to Oregon. We were also able to celebrate Shawn's 8th Birthday while we were there!!! What a fun time with cousins, Grandma and Grandpa, AND Granny and Papa!
Shawn's new favorite icecream is "Moose Tracks". He desperately wanted an icecream cake with Moose Tracks, so we did it! It turned out very well!
All Shawn really wanted for Christmas was a Wii. Grandma and Grandpa delivered! :) Santa got him a new bike, which he was very pleased with too!
