Shawn was able to go out with his dad this year! He was very excited to wear all the clothes. He soon found out that it takes a lot of patience and being quiet. Shawn's biggest thrill was dad tripping in a big hole and watching a porcupine go right past them. He thought it was pretty cool to see one so close. Rod has gotten three deer so far this year, two just last Saturday. He left the house to go elk hunting and was back 30 min. later with a deer. Headed out again for the elk and came back 20 min. later with another deer. Still no elk but with the snow and the weather we've had he's hoping to get one this week.
