Ponies League

It is once again time for BASEBALL! Shawn has been so excited to start in the Ponies League where they use the pitching machine. His favorite new position to play is catcher. He's getting better at hitting the ball too. He's a great infielder, we just have to teach him to tag the base and not chase down the runner. He will be playing against his cousins, J.D. and Morgan, on the Sheridan team, he's not sure how he feels about that. It's really fun to cheer him on even in the freezing cold wind! It may look like a nice sunny afternoon but Shawn is layered up in long-johns and sweat shirt and the high was about only 38 degrees!

School is winding down and May will be a very busy month with field trips and baseball games. I'll be teaching extened school year for 5 weeks, Rod will be going on the Europe trip and then starting his summer job with the Forset Service as a Range Technician (weed sprayer). Shawn will have fun!
